If you're looking for support in town and out, you can't go past the Scarpa Vortex GTX. Its Vibram soles are grippy on the trail and solid enough to last on hard city terrain. Its versatility makes the Gortex-lined Vortex a popular shoe for travel. This is a shoe that is ideal for hiking, day-long walking trips on mixed terrain, walks along paths. Gore-Tex (Extended Comfort Footwear) guarantees waterproof protection and breathability, while the tried and tested Vibram Dynatech2 sole unit keeps you firmly planted on any terrain with enough shock protection to hammer long distances. Very lightweight but the Vortex XCR has been hand built by Scarpa so, as usual, quality isn’t sacrificed.
